Comments from people who know my work

“What I love about the animals is their acceptance, allowance, trust and openness as well as their knowledge of our connection with all. I see these qualities in Calloway and I watch them unfold in her dealings with all beings. These qualities combined with her freshness, clarity, and honesty make her an excellent bridge between us and our animal brothers and sisters. I highly recommend her as an Animal Communicator.”
~Patty Summers, Animal Communicator and Author of Talking With the Animals

“As a professional animal communicator and teacher of animal communication, I have a profound appreciation for Calloway's ability to connect with animals on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Her approach is clear, loving and open. She is a jewel in the field of animal communication!”
~Carol DePoix, Animal Communicator

“Calloway's consultation allowed me to feel what it is like to walk in my cat's paws and see myself through his eyes. A behavior of his that had completely baffled me became clear and I understood how he saw me and my life and how he was trying to help me improve my life--all this came from one image that he sent to Calloway. Of course, my cat is exceptional!! But you will realize by having a consultation that your animal is just as exceptional. I recommend Calloway with great enthusiasm. Prepare to be amazed!!!”

“My dog Lacey meant the world to me. She was my family, child, friend. When she died I was beside myself with grief. Some time had passed before I contacted Calloway. I believe I have strong instincts about people, and I did feel I could trust Calloway once I contacted her for a session. I was surprised at how well Lacey's personality came through Calloway. She was very comforting and I felt as if I was talking to Lacey. I wanted the truth, and I felt my questions were answered. I don't know how to explain how she is able to communicate this way, but I think you have to believe in the spirit. I am not surprised our animals have spirits just because we cannot see this with our eyes, only our hearts. I feel confident in saying there is a benefit to those who love their animals in speaking with Calloway M'Cloud.”

“I want to thank you so much for helping me communicate with my precious girls in December. You helped me to better understand how they were feeling and to see the situation from their perspective instead of me “mindreading” and projecting my own thoughts and feelings onto them. I had become totally consumed with the thought that they were terminally ill and dying. I was spending more time worrying and crying about what was going to happen to them than I was spending with them. I am sure that my anxiety was having a negative impact on their wellness as well as my own. Your communication with them and me during our first session helped to calm me down and gain a more positive outlook again. I was able to focus on our daily activities and really appreciate the time that I had to spend with them. I feel anyone who has a close relationship with their pet could benefit from your ability to facilitate communication between themselves and their loved ones. You were able to help me find answers to some of the questions I have always wanted to ask my pets.”

“We consulted with Calloway when we were introducing an older special needs dog, Wini, to our other furry family. Calloway gave us great insight (which proved to be dead on) regarding Wini's personality and what she wanted from us as her new family. We also learned how the other animals felt about Wini joining the family. I am so glad we have established a relationship with Calloway so that when issues come up with the animals, she already knows them and has a handle on the family dynamic. The animals really respond positively to being involved in family problem solving. I guess they don't like to be told what to do any more than anyone else does! Calloway's calm and non-threatening approach also helped us to understand our former feral cat Puma. I felt that Calloway truly cared about the well being of our animal family and was willing to partner with us to keep them as happy and healthy as possible. As far as we're concerned Calloway gets “two paws up!” Part animal communicator, part camp counselor-she really helped our troop all get along! Calloway's warm and down-to-earth approach made me comfortable enough to give animal communication a try-and I know our animals have benefited.”

“About our session - I can hardly remember what we spoke about - in the days before death, I think we humans are in a bit of an altered state. What I do remember is your clarity about Honey's wanting to stay at home (I believe, even at that late hour, I was still thinking about euthanasia - so uncertain about being able to bear the full process of her dying). Your clarity and kindness and confidence strengthened me without doubt and helped me find that extra measure of courage to open and open and open more. Somehow, in those few minutes, you were able to recognize Honey's magnificence and you helped me follow through in honouring her as I truly wanted to.”

“Calloway's respectful and gentle approach in communicating with us and the clarity with which she conveyed the animal's perspectives supported us all in understanding how to better live in harmony, balance and health. The language and expression with which she presented the information from the animals was a perfect match for their personalities. Calloway gracefully navigated conveying personal and important information and supported us in coming to our resolution to make a life and health embracing change that is mutual beneficial. Our lives are greatly enhanced by our session with Calloway.”

“Our cat started bringing her ‘trophies’ into the house. Yuck! After a consultation, Calloway said our cat wanted a new name. I thought this was very weird, but it couldn't hurt to try. After her new name was given, the trophy bringing behavior dropped immediately and dramatically from 2 or 3 a day to less than 2 a month. We're very pleased.”
~Clay Cavedo, Ph.D., Afton, VA

“My session with you was very interesting, and you asked questions to get a good understanding of the situation. The session was very effective, and I have definitely noticed a change in the behavior of my cat. I would highly recommend your services.”
~Marsha Wilson, Fullerton, CA

“Having Calloway talk to our animals helped us understand their behaviors. The information she relayed fit what we've observed. We are looking forward to future consultations!”

“Calloway has a genuine ability to communicate with animals. She literally sees the world through their eyes. My experience with her has greatly improved the peace and harmony within my pack of dogs. Also, before our session, Chimi was nervous and unsettled with the grandchildren. She would tolerate them but I would never leave her alone with them. Now she WANTS to play with them, and she actually plays hide and seek with them. It's the cutest thing you ever saw. A real transformation.”

“Having you work with Cotton and Smudge was exciting. Of course, the results on the problem which we called about were very good and interesting. It was obvious they were “listening” to you, even though you were 1500 to 2000 miles way. The thing that amazed us the most is the unexpected and great benefit in the transformation of Smudge from a very non-lap cat to a very regular every day lap cat. He almost never spent time in my lap. Now, he expects to sleep in my lap for long periods. Cotton has been transformed also, but less dramatically, but amazingly.”
~Kenneth Smith

“I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical when a friend recommended Calloway to me for some problems I was having with one of my horses. However, I finally called, and was truly amazed with the results. Not only did she instantly pick up on his unique personality, but her kind manner and genuine concern put me completely at ease. She was able to pinpoint the problem, it was promptly addressed, and has NEVER resurfaced! My only regret is that I didn't call her sooner! Calloway has a special gift, and I am a firm believer in her abilities. I continue to use her to this day, and it has made my relationships with my horses even stronger than I ever knew was possible. I highly recommend her to anyone, for my animals and I are truly privileged to have her in our lives.”

“I am a skeptic by nature. Like many of us who first come to hear of the individuals who communication with animals, on a deeper level than most of us remember how too, making my call to Calloway was a leap in faith. My dog Hudson and I were both wary of making a commitment to each other. I would sit next to him and he would get up and move to the other side of the couch. Trust and bonding were a challenge. Hudson was unhappy with little zip and I was lonesome for a dog who cared that I existed. Calloway was able to make a link with Hudson in such a way that after my first session with her, when I returned home he came and put his head on my leg, while I was sitting on the couch. It has been about a year now and during this time Hudson and I have developed a rhythms with each other that is deep and satisfying to us both. He has allowed me to become his alpha and I have come to accept him for the special boy that he is. I'm convinced that it would have taken much longer for us to find our way together had I not sought a consultation from Calloway. I have been referring people that I know to her ever since and they also have found her work to be helpful to them in increasing their understanding of what their animals need.”

“I really appreciate your help with my dogs. My border collie, Meg, had been having a real problem in flyball - she kept going around the last jump. We tried many different ways to “teach” her to do all 4 jumps, but to no avail.
It was very enlightening talking with Meg through you. I thought that Meg just didn't understand the game, and was surprised to discover her real reason for not completing the last jump - an it sounded so much like my sweet Meg! She thought that it was rude not to defer to a dog coming on to her. Meg really is quite a mild mannered dog. Even at home, she wll defer to my other dogs, even to the pom, so this made a lot of sense.
Poor Meg - I found out that it was hugely stressful to her to do flyball, because it was against her nature not to get out of the way for an oncoming dog, especially a strong male. I'm SO glad that we talked with her before our first tournament!!!
As per the agreement that we made with her, I reminded her before each heat that she and I had a “heart connection”, that she just had to concentrate on me, picture herself going up and back in a tunnel, connected to me. It worked!!!! Even with the intensity of an actual competition, Meg completed all the jumps, got her Flyball dog title, and most of the points towards her Flyball Dog Excellent! I thought that was pretty good, since this was the first tournament for the whole team.
Your conversation with Meg helped her to become comfortable with the game of flyball. Now she understands the game and it is less stressful for her to face an oncoming dog.
I had another problem with my younger border collie. Since I have 2 dogs on the flyball team, someone else has to run him. In the last couple races on the second day at our first tournament, Star decided that BOTH flyball boxes were HIS, and that he would go up the lane we were in, get the ball from the opposite box, and race back down the other lane!!!!
Star had been the “rock” of the team - always going up and back prefectly, and running between 4 and 4.5 seconds. We were all horrified when he started crossing lanes - it was so unlike him. In talking with you, I discovered that he felt “taken for granted” - that I wasn't letting him know what a good job he was doing, that he wanted “WOW's” for his work. As I was busy running Meg, I have to admit that he was correct. So, he decided to make things more “interesting” by crossing lanes! Star said that he got more attention when he did that.
Our next tournanemt was last weekend. I was anxiously waiting to see what Star would do, especially after a lane change. Per our conversation with him, I made sure to give him Wows and to play with him after I ran Meg. I also instructed the person running him to give him Wow's and to play with him after his run.
Star ran perfectly all weekend and completed his Flyball Dog Champion title with points to spare. Meg also ran well at that tournament, but pulled a muscle near the end of the first day, and couldn't run on Sunday.
I thank you for all of the help that you gave me with both of these dogs. Both myself and our flyball trainer were at a loss as to how to help these dogs understand the game. It was SO helpful for US to understand the DOG's point of view. No wonder our training methods didn't work - they didn't address what the DOG saw as the problem. Now, even team members who didn't believe in animal communication are believers! They have all seen the big changes in both Meg and in Star. Thank you so much for your time and help!!!”

“My lab Mya had caregiver and protection duties. She was rewarded at age 4 with a male lab pup. She was thrilled to have a lab pup in her life, and during a later session with Calloway she relayed how excited she was to watch him grow into being a big boy that would one day be able to relieve her of her protection duties. She thought it would be quite nice to have someone protect her for a change!
When Lexi the rescue beagle came to stay nearly a month after the puppy came home, Mya was not impressed to say the least. She felt extremely overwhelmed and expressed a great deal of aggression towards Lexi. Mya and Lexi had to be separated by baby gates or crates. After two months of dealing with this situation I was fortunate enough to find Calloway’s website and to set up an appointment. Through their communication session a compromise was made. Mya would growl when she felt aggression towards the beagle, instead of starting a fight. I found this compromise very intriguing since I had never really heard Mya growl. But the next night, when Lexi had overstepped her boundaries, I heard a loud growl. Lexi then knew her place and how to act accordingly. Mya had also relayed to Calloway how the rescue beagle had such a short attention span and was absentminded. Mya came away from the session knowing that to deal with the situation the beagle would become her charge, and she would teach her all that needed to be taught. Lexi had been passed from owner to owner until she had been living in four houses in two years. She could not settle and would often run into a room, sit for a few seconds and then run out of the room again. In doing so, Lexi would often enter a room and run past Mya, the alpha dog, which was intolerable. Mya proceeded to teach Lexi how to enter a room by first seeking acceptance from Mya.
A year later, Lexi is a totally different dog. She is well mannered, focused, and finds comfort and security being with Mya. We owe a special thanks to Calloway for understanding, appreciating, and respecting Mya. The compromise that Mya made with Calloway truly made all the difference.”

“I contacted Calloway because I was having problems with my Portuguese Water Dog bullying my older Border Collie. Sullivan (the Portie) is very strong willed and she was giving Tessie ( the Border Collie) a hard time, what with rough “play” and being pushy in general. I sent Calloway some photos of my girls and we had a telephone session. I didn't know what to expect, as she was not actually meeting the dogs. Our telephone session was fantastic. Calloway was able to explain to me what was happening for Sullivan, who was basically feeling undervalued and underappreciated. I am Tessie's 5th (and last!) owner. She had a hard start to life and has come round beautifully. Calloway explained to me that Sullivan thought Tessie was not so vulnerable, I guess she thought I was spoiling Tessie. I did a lot of work validating Sully and letting her know how much I appreciate her strength, character and cuddles. Calloway also checked it out with Sully if bringing a pup into the house would be ok, and I am glad to say when wanted another dog to play rough with! Goblin arrived last summer. Since my session with Calloway, there has been a marked difference in Sully's bullying behavior. I would have to say she has settled down a lot, and she actually did a lot of the parenting of Goblin when she arrived. I would strongly recommend to anyone who is struggling with behavioral problems with their animals to try this experience of communicating with the animals, to get to the root of the problems in order to move on with greater understanding and compassion.”

“Animals are my greatest teachers. In their infinite wisdom, they remind me that we are all one. In her work, Calloway honors this connection in a very deep and meaningful way. With intention and an open heart (a really big, kind one!), she has brought clarity and understanding to the relationships that we have with our animals. Her communication sessions are astonishingly accurate, detailed and undeniably thrilling.”

“Calloway M'Cloud offers insight and inner peace for all of us who have loved and lost a pet. My personal journey with Calloway has been eye-opening, comforting, and very healing. The path that has unfolded for me since the passing of my dog, Bogy, has taught me so much. I now have a sense of peace and understanding. Thank you, Calloway.”
